Our Process

Our Step-by-Step Process

Hot tub waterfalling into a custom pool.

1

Before the installation process can begin, first we must determine the location and size of the desired pool. This will depend on factors such as property size, zoning regulations, and personal preferences. Alpha Pools USA provides a thorough list of all the possible shapes your pool can be designed, allowing your pool to come in all kinds of forms.

2

Once the location and size have been determined, the next step is to obtain the necessary permits and approvals from your local government. Alpha Pools USA can walk you through the process of receiving the necessary permits, offering an easy, stress-free experience.

3

Next, the excavation process begins. This involves digging a hole in the ground to the appropriate size and shape for the pool. It is important to ensure that the excavation is done to the proper specifications, as any errors at this stage can cause problems later on.

4

Once the excavation is complete, the pool’s foundation must be prepared. The pool is then formed with rebar to get the desired shape. The plumbing and electrical connections for the pool also need to be installed at this stage.

Three construction workers are building an in-ground gunite swimming pool in a backyard. The pool structure is partially completed, with rebar in place at the bottom and concrete sprayed onto the walls. A set of concrete steps is visible at one end, and tarps are hung overhead for shade. One worker smooths the pool edge while others work inside the pool. A wooden deck and house are in the background.

Several workers are inside the pool spraying and smoothing shotcrete onto the pool walls, while others work on the rebar framework. A worker in a blue tarp suit is positioned at the top edge of the pool, and the surrounding area is filled with dirt and construction materials. Dense trees line the background, providing some natural privacy.

5

After the foundation is prepared, the pool walls can be installed The pool is then shot with Gunite to create the pools shell.  Tile and coping can then be completed at this stage.

6

Once the pool walls and floor have been completed, all of the equipment (such as heat pump, heaters, etc) are installed and hooked up ready for inspections.

Workers are finishing the interior surface of a newly constructed in-ground swimming pool. The pool has a smooth, dark gray surface and built-in curved steps on one side. Two workers are applying finishing touches along the walls, while another is seated near the center with tools. The surrounding deck features stonework and is partially covered by a white canopy.

Behind everything are green trees.

7

The pool deck area is then prepared and ready to be finished whether its poured concrete or pavers.

8

The final steps then begin. The pool is plastered, and water is added immediately to cure the plaster.  Once the water has been added, it is treated and tested to ensure the swimmers safety.
